JW Marriott Maldives Resort & Spa

JW Marriott Maldives Resort & Spa is the first hotel of the JW Marriott chain in the Maldives, and it opened on November 1, 2019. The shoreline villas are nestled amidst lush tropical foliage, just steps away from beaches with soft, pristine white sand. The water villas are perched on stilts above the turquoise waters of the lagoon. All villas come with their own private pools.

Guests can enjoy the Family by JW - Little Griffins kids' club, JW Marriott Spa, fitness center, two outdoor pools, and a center for water sports. Activities at the resort include diving, snorkeling, water skiing, beach volleyball, and table tennis.

The hotel is located 192 km north of Velana International Airport on Vagaru Island in the Shaviyani Atoll. The transfer takes 55 minutes by seaplane (only during daylight hours) or 45 minutes by local airline and 15 minutes by boat.
