Sandies Bathala Resort Maldives

Sandies Bathala is a four-star resort nestled in the lush tropical greenery of Bathala Island. It is part of the Sandies Hotels & Resorts chain and opened in 2019.

Thanks to its location, the resort boasts a magnificent house reef that attracts divers from all around the world. It offers 70 rooms, with 44 beach bungalows located on the shore and 24 overwater villas.

The beach bungalows can accommodate up to three people, and some of them have adjoining doors. The water villas are designed for four guests.

The resort takes pride in its vibrant house reef, accessible by boat. Snorkeling is available during both day and night.

Surrounded by tropical vegetation, there is a saltwater lake on the resort's premises. Guests staying in the Lake View villas can enjoy views of the lake right from their terrace.

The diving center provides training in underwater swimming. Beginners can take the Open Water course, while professionals can follow the recommendations of SSI, CMAS, and PADI. The center also offers Nitrox diving and underwater scooters. The best diving spots in the Maldives, including Fishhead, Mayaa Tila, Maaga Tila, and Manta Point, are in close proximity to the island.

The MVUA SPA center features two massage rooms and an additional outdoor massage area with a sea view. Guests can choose from signature treatments, scrubs, rituals, and additional cosmetic procedures, including facials, manicures, and pedicures.

Sandies Bathala is an Italian-themed resort operating on an all-inclusive basis. It is perfect for families, friends, couples, and diving enthusiasts. The resort offers a beautiful sandy beach, and upon request, cribs and high chairs for feeding are available.

Feature private verandas with direct beach access. The bright rooms are furnished with custom-made furniture, either with a "king-size" bed or two single beds, individually controlled air conditioning, ceiling fan, IDD telephone line, Wi-Fi, and a digital safe in the room. The bathrooms have double sinks and outdoor showers. Out of the 46, 22 of them are interconnected Beach Bungalows. The rooms do not have televisions; however, there is a TV area located close to the reception.

Built on stilts, offer a spacious terrace with a dining area and loungers. The villas have wooden parquet floors and custom-made furniture, featuring "king-size" beds and a sofa bed. All rooms are equipped with climate control, IDD telephone line, Wi-Fi, and a digital safe. The bathrooms include double sinks and spacious shower cabins. Each room in the resort is provided with coffee, tea, and a mini-fridge. Similar to the Beach Bungalows, the rooms do not have televisions; however, there is a TV area located close to the reception.
