Soneva Jani Maldives - "Jani" translates from Sanskrit as "wisdom." The resort features 59 villas: 51 overwater and 8 beachfront villas. Each overwater villa includes a slide and a retractable roof, allowing guests to stargaze. The resort offers a new wellness center with the Unlimited Spa program, an open-air cinema, and one of the largest kids' clubs in Southeast Asia - The Den.

In 2021, the resort's southern part unveiled a new project called Soneva Jani Chapter Two, featuring overwater and beachfront villas with the Soneva Unlimited program. Additionally, three new restaurants and a healing center with an Ayurvedic clinic were introduced. The resort operates the Soleni diving center with a professional team holding PADI certifications. The Noonu Atoll is also renowned for excellent surfing, with about 10 popular surf spots nearby.

Guests have the unique opportunity to observe stars through a telescope and listen to captivating stories from an astronomer. Watching movies at the overwater cinema with headphones adds to the experience without disturbing the fragile marine eco-system.

Soneva Jani boasts the largest lagoon in the Maldives. A resident marine biologist is present to share knowledge with guests. The mangrove thickets conceal crabs, while marine turtles choose secluded beaches for nesting. The resort is located on Medhufaru Island, Noonu Atoll, approximately 169 km from Male International Airport. The island's size is 1600m x 300m, and the transfer takes 40 minutes by seaplane (available only during daylight hours).
